		<description><![CDATA[As one of your fellow tweet seaters (msteketee on twitter ...) i moved between direct observation and struggling with the experiment itself throughout the evening.  And because I AM indeed a blogging theatre critic who receives press comps with regularity, i suppose i was struggling with that role throughout the experience.  (and no I won&#039;t be reviewing that show based on my viewing of it as a tweet-seater precisely because of my split attention .. i couldn&#039;t give myself totally over to the experience as i need to to review it appropriately when i was typing out notebook notes in a manner that required that i tear my attention, even for seconds at a time, from the stage ..) 

 There may be a role for tweeting some aspects of the theatrical enterprise (e.g. Woolly Mammouth in DC has recently announced or in fact held an event during which live tweeting will occur during a post show discussion as i understand it).  And yet .. The context of a live performance can never be conveyed within the context of a 140 character limitation.  sequential as they may be.  The reader of the tweets AND the constructor of the tweets will both be distanced from the art being presented before them on the stage.

I am struggling (while attempting to write up a few actual reviews of shows I have seen over the past few days) with writing up some of my own thoughts about the role mash up I experienced as well as my musings about the effects of live tweeting on the art form.
